We've been asked to share information concerning a Face Book group, Save Ohio Pensions. Below is the text of the request from Pam Shaw, a fellow retiree. We recommend checking out the group and making your own decision.

I wanted to relay information on PERS potential investigation.
There is a Facebook group called Save Ohio Pensions.
There are about 10,000 members presently. I would encourage you and any other former or current state workers to join the group. There is a great deal of information on this site. We are trying to raise money to launch an audit on PERS. Perhaps you are aware of the audit performed on the state teachers retirement system. The same person that conducted that audit would be hired by our group for a cost of 75,000 dollars. As you know PERS has continued to cut benefits and are now considering adding another group classification and also looking to eliminate COLA after 2022. Current and retired persons should be concerned.
Please consider joining the group, contributing 10 dollars or whatever is feasible to this cause.
Also, please forward information to current or retired state employees who may have interest.
