Mark your calendars! Our next luncheon is on Tuesday, September 2nd. The place is Ryan's in Marion, and the time is noon. The only cost is your own lunch, unless you're feeling especially generous.
Before you come. Tell other retirees about our luncheon. We only have 76 addresses on file, so it's very possible we haven't been able to locate some of the friends you worked with. Bring them so we can put theirs on our list.
When you come. Bring photos you would like added to our display. Photos of general interest are preferred. But if you insist on submitting your certificate for working two whole weeks without calling in sick, we might put that on anyway. We will scan the photos and make every attempt to return them to you in their original condition.
After you come. If you had a good time, tell your friends. Invite them to the next gathering, tentatively scheduled for May 5th, 2009. (We have to say "tentatively", as Ryan's won't make a reservation that far in advance.) And provide us their names and addresses. We'll mail them a reminder card when the time comes, with the current meeting information.
